Here it is November 1st and I wasn’t through with the 4th of July yet. Time is flying by at a pace that makes my head swirl but I am determined to ‘grab ahold of today’ and squeeze every ounce of life out of it.
Remember the simple little prayer that we use to pray over our meals as kids? “God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for our food, Amen!” That’s where I am at today; determined to find thankfulness in the morsels of life that we take for granted and only miss when they are removed. Don’t wait for something to slip out of your life before you realize the value.
“Blessed be God, Who has not turned away my prayer, nor His mercy from me!” (Psalm 66:20)
